Film photography, which has become a hobby today, has become an expensive one with the closure of film companies and the shrinking production of chemicals — prices are up 300% since 2017.
That’s why I put every frame I didn’t use, or didn’t like, back to work. With “Bir Film Olmuş 40TL” (“A Roll of Film Cost 40TL”), also known as the Film Frame Recovery Project, I animated the unused frames and gave each one a small story.
